I chose the accommodation for its location, and it truly couldn’t have been better: just a few minutes’ walk from the Old Town, the presidential palace, the university library, and the main campus of the University of Warsaw. Still, it’s also a very quiet street, so it was easy to work in peace both during the day and at night.

The main issue was the arrival instructions—it’s important to read them carefully, as they don’t highlight that the apartment (and the key box!!!) is on the ground floor to the LEFT (thank goodness for the kind neighbours!). Since I arrived at the end of October, it was already quite cold, and I struggled with drafts coming through the main door and windows, as well as the difficulty of heating the space. That said, the location is so fantastic that it’s easy to overlook the less-than-ideal conditions, which are understandable given the age of the building. On the downside, being right in the heart of the city means there are only small shops and restaurants nearby. Be advised :)

Amazing location by the old town. It is a big property with loads of space , quiet as it has no neighbours.

The property was not very clean, the carpet was stained and gross, the floor was super squeaky so it was a challenge to wake up and not to wake everyone else.
