The accommodation
Our property is approximately 100000 m² in size, and we’re just a stone’s throw from the beautiful town of Lagos and all its beaches, the marina, and much more. Herdade do Castanheiro was once a farm with horses, cows, sheep, and more. We’re surrounded by many very old cork oaks; we have a small plantation of orange trees, as well as fig trees, olive trees, lemon and lime trees, some grapevines, and a variety of other species. Enjoy the tranquility of rural life in the countryside.

So feel free to walk around and enjoy the scenery and nature.
We have a covered barbecue area that you can use outdoors under a parasol.

Currently, we have a lovely family of cows grazing on our land. Please enjoy watching them, but respect them and always keep your distance.
