The house was definitely a forest style cabin!It has tons of character and we loved it!No AC though so you need to open the window at night and let in that wonderful mountain air! The best part was we fit our family of 12 (6 adults and 6 kids) in here just fine! It was a wonderful time!Side note if you are tall be prepared to hit your head on some things lol (may people back when house was build were a lot smaller )

I loved the cabin! It had a warm cozy feel to it. It was great to watch the wildlife come around, the off beaten road location was relaxing. We hiked, fished, sight saw, and then ran out of days ... going back soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well loved family home. The well stocked kitchen complete with condiments, sugar, and a first aid kit was much appreciated. There were plenty of beds for the children, and space for the adults too. The region was just lovely and the kids were able to play safely outside and go for walks in the neighborhood, and enjoyed the videos and toys in the house, too. We went for a hile on the beautiful Pine River Trail just 15 mins from the house, and enjoyed the scenic Silverton-Durango railway. A beautiful and comfortable spot. Thank you for your hospitality! Nana's cabin was clean and well stocked. My husband and I felt like we were visiting our grand parents. Cozy home. The mattresses could use an upgrade, but other than that everything was great.
