The room was very clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Azzurra was an amazing host and constantly made sure that everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared every day and was absolutely lovely. At our request, she also prepared a fresh savoury breakfast for us each morning, including delicious local specialties. Of all the places we stayed during our trip around Puglia, this was by far the most generous, satisfying, and thoughtfully prepared breakfast we had. The beds were very comfortable, and overall, our stay was simply perfect. We truly couldn’t have asked for anything more.

There was nothing we disliked about the property itself. The only minor downside was that it was a little farther from the old town, although there is a bus stop very close by, which makes getting around easy.

Nous avons apprécié le charme de la chambre. Le buffet pour le petit déjeuner était complet (peut-être quelques fruits frais seraient bien appréciés). Nous avons aimé aussi le calme du quartier, pas de bruit de circulation. L'appartement est situé à 30' à pied du centre historique mais l'accès est facile par une grande artère aux trottoirs larges qui mène directement aux beaux monuments du centre de Lecce. Matteo et Azzurra ont été très à l'écoute de nos demandes, ils nous ont donné de bons conseils : restaurants et un lieu adapté pour notre entraînement de course à pied (le parc du CONI).

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely property in the Castromediano area of Lecce. It’s situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood, making it a peaceful place to relax after exploring the city, while still being conveniently located for both the historic centre and the main roads. The historic centre of Lecce is around 15 minutes away by bus. Free street parking was also easy to find. Our room was spotless, comfortable, bright and equipped, with a very comfortable bed, air conditioning, tv, free WiFi, a private bathroom and a shower. Breakfast had a generous selection of both sweet and savoury options, including pastries, bread, eggs, yoghurt, granola, fresh fruit, tea, coffee and delicious homemade cakes. The private terrace was a lovely bonus, with outdoor seating and a good amount of privacy. There is a shared eating area with a fridge, kettle and microwave, Communication with the hosts was easy via WhatsApp, and everything was very well organised, from check-in to breakfast. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the accommodation feel particularly homely. One thing to note is that the rooms are accessed by a spiral staircase with 41 steps - this may be worth considering if travelling with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Overall, a comfortable, peaceful and very well-maintained place to stay, with excellent hospitality and a convenient location. We would happily recommend it for anyone visiting Lecce.
