Great location. Wonderful hosts. Ensured all went smoothly, from arrival to departure, sharing tips so we made the most of our stay.

We had such a fantastic holiday: a wonderful home, and such helpful and kind hosts. I can’t recommend staying at Margo house more. Fab location, beautifully decorated and clean home, easy communication with the hosts. They were so attentive, and even sent us a suggested itinerary for our stay on the island with lots of amazing recommendations. We hope to come back!

It's not very easy to say in a few words how amazing and lovely this property is. This authentic traditional house can offer you great comfort, real care and actual hospitality for your stay. Located in the heart of Symi town (or village if you prefer to say best), close to the main pedestrian street of Kali Strata, next to a beautiful church and adjacent to local shops, cafe, restaurants and tavernas, away from the touristic area of the port Gialos, however at the same time in walking distance from it, it will undoubtedly offer you an unforgettable relaxing holiday time. It consists of two floors plus a loft (so effectively three different levels). As you get in, there is lovely decorated living room with a high wooden ceiling. Further in you can find the master bedroom together with a toilet, outside a cute balcony and above all that it's the loft with two beds; both bedrooms are with good size, comfortable mattresses and enough space in the wardrobes. The kitchen which is located in the lower floor is spacious, fully equipped, leading to a terrace and connected to the main bathroom. Beware of the steep stairs. The two air-conditioning are enough to keep the house cool day and night. Need to mention that the house is in a great condition throughout and really clean and spotless. Filippos and Zacharoula (the owners) are very responsive and can organise anything for you in the island. Even a taxi picked us up in the port on our arrival and that was complimentary. The property is absolutely recommended for a relaxing and pleasant stay. We really hope to come back at some point :-)

Nothing at all !

Symi ist eine wunderschöne Inselgruppe, die so vieles zu bieten hat. Man muss diesen Ort einfach lieben. Das Haus ist oben auf dem Berg gelegen/Chorio, im eher traditionellen Teil. Hier gibt's noch viele Einheimische, die hier leben, essen und feiern. Der Bus fährt stündlich zum Hafen oder auf die andere Seite nach Pedi und zurück. Pro Strecke 2,50 Euro. Das ist sehr gut, denn die Treppen(350?) der Kalistrata nach oben sind anstrengend. Runter ist es locker, nachts auch beleuchtet. Der Ausblick von oben ist wunderschön. .

Natürlich leben hier Menschen. Es gibt auch einige Kirchen. Es gibt Gottesdienste, Schulen und viele Tavernen. Die Bewohner und Touristen feiern und fahren Mopeds. Normal. Mitunter ist es laut. Aber das gehört zum Leben dazu :-).
