A splendid place in a lovely setting. Our hosts were very welcoming and attentive and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We chose to have an evening meal which was excellent, most of it homemade. It was accompanied by a generous helping of different wines. The same was true of the breakfast, including homemade local pastries and jams made from fruit grown on the property.

De vriendelijke mensen, zij zijn erg betrokken. Je krijgt informatie over het verblijf en de omgeving. We hebben op hun aanraden bijvoorbeeld het Mémorial de Montormel bezocht. Eén indrukwekkend museum met het verhaal over de laatste gevechten voor de bevrijding van Normandië.
We kregen de lunch mee voor onze reis naar huis.
Niets, wel iets ver als je bijvoorbeeld de D day stranden wil bezoeken.

This is not a standard anonymous chambre d'hotes. It's a privileged experience of French hospitality in a setting rich in family and regional history. Dinner, breakfast, and the stunning array of furnishings and decor bring the traditions of Normandy and Burgundy together in spectacular fashion. The garden is a perfect place to relax after a long drive. Our hosts were attentive and delightful. They made our visit unforgettable. We will stay with them again on our next visit to France.

Very welcoming host and hostess in their beautifully renovated chateau.
The breakfast was very good with fresh fruit juice and freshly baked cakes and pancakes made by our hostess Dominique.
We would have like a small kettle to make hot drinks.
