Inside, on three levels:

The house has on the first floor a large, bright cathedral living room, with monumental fireplace and mezzanine / library, and right next to it, but nevertheless separate, a beautiful classic dining room, all of which can easily accommodate 12 people.

In continuity with the reception rooms, but separated by a door and a corridor, in which the guest toilet is located, the kitchen is fully equipped with appliances of all kinds and crockery to be able to cook accordingly. Following it, a small night hall gives access to the nineteenth century staircase and to a first master bedroom en-suite #1 with its private double bathroom (shower, bath, double sink, toilet).

On the first floor, there are three double bedrooms: to the right of the landing, a master en-suite #2 with its beautiful private bathroom (huge walk-in shower, double sink, toilet) and, to the left of the 1st landing, two master bedrooms, #3 and #4, sharing in the center of the adjoining a double bathroom (bath, double sink), a separate toilet and the laundry room. The bedroom at the end of this row (#4) has access to the mezzanine, which allows its occupants to go down to the first floor, without having to go through room #3.

On the second floor, there are two other double bedrooms, one as large as the master bedrooms on the first floor and 1st floor, with its private bathroom en-suite (bath, double sink and toilet), while the last bedroom (#6), smaller than the other 5 bedrooms, nevertheless has a private bathroom (shower, single sink) and a separate private toilet.

The three levels of the house all have a double orientation, South by the front façade, North by the rear façade, each room having a French window and/or a window, on both sides. This allows a pleasant ventilation of the rooms, as well as a beautiful light. The 3 hot bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and the others have powerful fans - as well as the common areas (in all, 10 fans).

Outside:
The property is enclosed by walls. The main building divides the land in two, which offers two different worlds, a "priest's garden" enclosed at the front, very charming and peaceful, while the rear garden, also enclosed by walls and hedges, offers a more modern universe, halfway between the Landes and the Caribbean.PGJyPg
The front garden, through which you will access by car through an electrified porch set up in the middle of the outbuildings, offers a terrace on the south façade of the main building. Next to the electric porch, a gate also allows access to the property on foot. Three to four cars can be parked in this front garden and two cars can be parked outside the porch, on a small private triangle belonging to the property.

All rooms on the first floor have a patio door to the front garden and another to the rear garden.

The rear terraces, on the north façade, renovated and covered in 2024/2025, offer two beautiful outdoor spaces. It can be accessed either from the kitchen, the dining room or the living room.

Finally, at the bottom of the rear garden, a 9.5 by 4.5 m swimming pool, surrounded by a large Douglas fir terrace and covered with a dome, was rebuilt in 2024/2025, an idyllic setting inspiring idleness and the pleasures of getting together with friends. A large sofa for 12 people occupies the alcove of the covered part of the terrace. The swimming pool covered by a fixed dome helps regulate temperature differences and offers a cocooning atmosphere in all seasons. The pool is heated, even in summer, to ensure a minimum temperature of 27/28 degrees - currently, at the beginning of July 2026, it is at 32 degrees.

Tenants do not have access to the cellars, nor to the outbuildings, which remain private.

The 400 euro exit cleaning also includes the provision of sheets and terry towels for indoor use. Requests for additional cleaning are managed directly with the owner.

The Saumur region is full of possibilities for nature excursions, on the banks of the Loire or the Thouet, visits to castles and other historical monuments, walks in tourist villages, visits to cellars and vineyards... and activities in sports centres. There is no shortage of tourist events in high season, from May onwards, but even in low season, theatre shows, concert halls and village festivals allow you to discover this Anjou sweetness, specific to this place.

Obviously, gastronomy holds a special place in the Saumur region, where people come from all over Europe to taste regional and national specialities. You will find a small private guide on site, with suggestions of good restaurants or unusual places to visit.

The house is located between Saumur and Doué-en-Anjou, which allows you to do your shopping in both localities and there is really everything you need to satisfy everyone's needs. A list of caterers will be given to you on request, if you want to make your life easier during your stay and order your meals (some caterers deliver to your home).

To complete your stay, a partnership with a para-medical beautician will allow you to do beauty and relaxation treatments à la carte (additional services on request).PGJyPg
