Studio 6 Extended Stay - Summerville, SC - Charleston

The hotel did not have much to offer other than a clean place to stay and a great location. They have done an excellent job of cleaning up the hotel and making it safer...it used to be a hotbed of nefarious activates. It is now much calmer and much safer. It was generally very clean but there was still a slight lingering smell of smoke. (the following comment is true of all hotels that have gone for carpet to LVP flooring) The floors were dirty...all hotels with this flooring use what are essentially dust mops with a spray. That does not clean the floor. After the first night there I purchased a mop and some ammonia. I mopped the floors and could then walk around barefooted without the soles of my feet looking like I had been dancing in coal dust.
