Our host, Nadine, was very helpful and a pleasure to work with, very responsive, to all our needs and questions! She also arranged shuttle service to/from the airport, set up a private dinner w/chef at the house, and arranged for a photographer. Thank you for everything, Nadine! About the house: It’s very large and easily accommodated our group of 15 (ages 17 to 80). We had five couples and five singles, four of whom shared the bunk room and another bedroom. 2 bedrooms on the patio level. 2 bedrooms on the lower level (one king bedroom, 1 bunk room). 4 bedrooms on the upper level. The bedrooms had full en suite bathrooms with towels, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers. The kitchen was extremely well appointed and stocked with enough paper products and K Cups for a couple days! The pool & jacuzzi were awesome!Observations to share that resulted in only 4 stars for the house:*The 2 patio bedrooms required going up some stairs (with no railing!) to reach the main level. (Or you can use an outside entrance to the driveway.) Also, the bathrooms had large tubs, but only detachable shower heads with no curtains! *The stairs and tubs are problems because these are the only possible handicap/wheelchair accessible bedrooms. (There is a full shower on the main level.)* If you visit in the summer, the small sunroom off the kitchen gets VERY warm!* The main living room was furnished only with several small bistro tables & chairs, not very comfortable for watching tv.

We, a group of eight seniors, enjoyed five wonderful nights in this house in late September as the leaves were turning beautiful colors. Nadine was an excellent communicator, very prompt with tips and advice.The house is in very good condition. Air conditioners are in each bedroom and in all the common areas. The amenities are over the top with pool, hot tub, fire pit, pool table and ping pong table.Kitchen is well equipped with tons of dishes, glassware, silverware, and various pots and pans. There is a Keurig and two coffee makers plus various teas.There is one long dining room table seats probably 24 people or so. You can also fit eight around the large kitchen island and enjoy meals there, too.Our group debated about whether to stay on the island or in Quebec City and we were all unanimous in preferring the island location. We were able to comfortably spread out in the house and grounds and enjoy the modest island sights on one day.The largest grocery store on the island, which has many of the basics, but is not to be confused with a supermarket, is a 2 minute drive from the house. A large IGA and Costco are on the mainland 20-30 minutes away.We did a day trip to Quebec City, just 20 minutes away despite lots of construction, which was enough for most of us. On another day, we visited the beautiful Jacques Cartier National Park about an hour away where we did some hiking.All of us would recommend this property to those needing lots of beds and amenities.

Wow! What a fantastic vacation getaway. Perfectly beautiful location, well appointed, clean, spacious, and the best owner ever! She made sure our stay was fabulous. I honestly don't know how it could have been better.

We had a wonderful time at the house. Perfect place…close to everything but far enough away to feel peaceful and relax. Plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy and common areas to connect. The kitchen island enjoyed a lot of laughs and the pool was well used. Thank you Nadine for all you help coordinating the chef and guiding us through our week.
