A spacious and beautiful unit right on the little river, running through town, and right in the central part of town, close to a food market and all of the other wonders of Stowe. My wife and I have stayed in many short-term rental units throughout the world, and this was the best appointed of all of them. The kitchen had all the utensils and cooking artifacts. One needs. The owners have gone out of their way to supply two ways of making coffee, with many Keurig pods and teas. Beautiful granite counters in the kitchen, three different size, cutting boards, a knife set, and a dishwasher, microwave, and toaster oven, along with the regular stove, top and large oven. I spend a substantial time in my kitchen at home, and I can’t imagine what else the owners could provide.The bedrooms were very nice and spacious, each with its own bathroom. The living room had a deck overlooking the river, and had some games, reading material about the area, a huge TV where we watched the World Cup and Wimbledon matches. It was like being home. Everything was provided with a serious amount of thoughtfulness. Our host were available all the time. And, they even left us a bottle of sparkling wine to top it off. Just a joy to have stayed here.

We stayed two nights at the property and it was perfect for our family of four. The location is great and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops and groceries. George was a great host and made the check-in and check out processes very easy. He was also easy to work with and responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to stay in Stowe.

The host was an excellent communicator. We went to celebrate my sister and I birthday and we had our 90 year old Dad with us. We all loved the property and the convenience of the location to things to do was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the little river going by. Thank you for being part of such a memorable trip!

This was perfect for our team's planning retreat. Clean, spacious, well supplied. Great location, easy walk to the village and trails — and amazingly quiet considering the proximity to the main road. Prompt and friendly communication. Would definitely book again.
