Don Falang Homestay- Private Island & Beach

🇱🇦 🏝 When travelling to the 4,000 islands, treat yourself to a stay at Don Falang – you deserve it! Alex and Laymon are hands-down the most welcoming and warm hosts we have ever encountered. They made our stay on their private island feel like a family holiday. They spoiled us with delicious, home-cooked food, spent fun evenings with us and the other guests playing card games and helped us with all kinds of arrangements. 🍜 🍝 You can feel that they do it genuinely with their fullest passion and that made this stay stand out for us so much. Pilo, their dog, and Happiness, the cat, added to the charme. 🐕 🐈 The cosy island with four rooms at the water front was the cherry on the top. 🍒 All in all, a fantastic stay – 100% recommended! 💯

Laimon and Alex are the most amazing and heartfelt hosts. 💯% recommended! Before coming here I was almost doubting our decision to come here for our last night in Laos, as for our budget it was a bit pricey and once on the island there is nothing else. I was afraid to feel trapped. But immediately when our boat arrived at the small pier we were greeted with warm welcome smiles and felt home instantly. My son and me were the only guests and it was great! Alex showed him how to fish, while I could relax and read a book watching the Mekong floating by. The rooms are spotless clean, nicely decorated and cozy. Later Laimon cooked a delicious dinner for about 10 people instead of just us 4 🤭 and we tried our best but couldn’t finish (breakfast was just as rich). We ended the day with an awesome evening of playing cards and talks. Even in high season they only have 4 bungalows to give the best personal experience for all guests

Le lieu est magnifique, calme et bien aménagé. Le concept en demi-pension est très sympa, la cuisine est savoureuse et authentique. Le séjour parfait 👍. Merci à Alex et sa femme 🙏
