We loved our stay at the Hive! people commented on its great kitchen, the great back patio for socializing, the overall size and dog friendliness

We had such a great stay at this property. It’s nestesled perfectly into black mountain and the neighborhood is beautiful. The amenities were top notch and the hosts communication was perfect. Anything we needed, she responded in minutes. They had an abundance of towels and other things that made the stay as simple as possible. This shows that the property owner very much pays attention to the detail, which is what you want in a host. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who had a party in the 2-6, maybe even 7 person range.

The Sandy Hive was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was close to town and the lake. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you could want.

Walked to the pool thru the golf course path. There are no sidewalks along the street to the pool. Downtown a bit too far to walk and had rain each day of our trip. Very clean home - only one small spider which is amazing given all the trees in Black Mountain. The gas fireplace was wonderful. Didn't use the grill. Very accommodating host. Thank you for the memories
