We had a wonderful time staying at Fern + Moss and hope to be back again! The lake was amazing, we caught many fish, and enjoyed kayaking and seeing the eagles and osprey. We enjoyed the hot tub, comfortable beds, and amazing shower in the upper loft bedroom. Our two boys loved sitting on the swinging chairs on the front porch and the big windows and beautiful scenery were exactly what we needed for our vacation. The lower level was well-stocked with games, and my youngest loved the stuffed animals and toys for kids. We highly recommend Fern + Moss!

Hot tub was great, kitchen items were plenty

My wife and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience! The property is absolutely stunning, right on Moss Lake with breathtaking views. We were lucky enough to have a full moon during our stay, and it was magical watching the moonlight reflect off the water. Even better, we saw several meteors and shooting stars while relaxing in the hot tub – truly an experience we’ll never forget! The house itself has everything you could possibly need. The owners have thought of every detail, from cozy blankets to kitchen gadgets.. it felt like home the moment we walked in. The hot tub was the perfect touch for star-gazing after a day of exploring downtown Minocqua. We were so impressed with the amount of space, too. There’s so much room for a large group, and we’re already planning to bring our whole family next time. There are activities for everyone, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun getaway. We can’t wait to return!
