We had a wonderful stay at SOV Lodge. The hosts were wonderful people and very accommodating. When we had requests for the room or other questions, they were promptly addressed them. I would happily stay there on a return trip to the area!

Absolutely lovely place to stay. For me as a Dutch visitor, the fact that the front door is 'just open' (cottage is mostly unmanned during the day) and that the key to your room is in the door, is mindblowing to me, haha. They have limited capacity, so when this is available, book it! The beds are amazing and the cottage has such a warm, quaint feeling to it. Someone did take my room, but was solved immediately as I was just pointed to another one. Breakfast is lovely and in shoulder season/winter, they light the fireplace. It's close to many hikes and about a 45 minute drive to Rondane National Park, to spots like Mysusæter (for Rondvassbu) and Høvringen
