We were in town for a wedding and some sightseeing. The building location is across the Potomac River from DC...about 1-mile. It was perfect for uber rides into D, Arlington National Cemetery, and old town Alexandria.
The rooftop deck was great to take a break with a drink and see the view of DC from 20 floors up. The neighborhood is very walkable in the evenings...stores and restaurants nearby.

Our stay at The Altaire was nice. The property is beautiful and extremely clean. The check in process was a little awkward but was rectified quickly. There were a few things that could've been better like there were no hangers, cleaning products, or extra toilet paper, but overall it was a nice stay.
