Opinie

4 / 10

Great location suburb wise, would be alright for a young couple

Location was good, as was cleanliness.

Communication from owner. Firstly, the ad specifically said there were two beds (I have screenshotted the ad), there was one and my friend and I were forced to share. Next, the address was very unclear, stating 3 different streets and not mentioning the building name. The key lock was with approximately 20 others, and there were two poles rather close to each other that both had a lot of keyboxes, not easy to find. Finally, the bathroom door had come off the rail and we were forced to undertake repairs.

a stay with much more potential

The location was great . It is an Art Deco hotel that is in need of some tlc. the room was clean some mold in the bathroom. soap and shampoo etc. were good quality. people who lived there were friendly and helpful

The bed collapsed it had been fixed before but not well and it could cause injury it needs to be fixed properly or replaced. The carpet is stained and the room smelled a bit. street noise was a problem at 2 am but that is because of the location so to be expected. overall other than the bed it was a good stay considering its age and location.

Perfect for me

The location is everything, right in the heart of Surry Hills, close to Oxford and Crown, convenient for many bus routes, restaurants, bars and nightlife in general. Central, the CBD, Hyde Park and Kings Cross as the Botanic gardens, harbour and Opera House if you fancy a longer walk. The studio had everything I needed for my stay and I really loved it. The bed is comfortable, good shower and kitchenette facilities. The tv was great but could do with a soundbar as I felt as though there was a lot of sound transfer to the neighbouring apartment. Overall it was a great place to stay, perfect for my needs and I'll be booking again next time I'm in Sydney!

It could have been cleaner, there were hairs on the bathroom floor and toe nail clippings in the corner by the bin which was a little gross but these things happen. There is some noise from the street, this didn't bother me as I know the area well and that it was a possibility, but this wouldn't be ideal for a light sleeper! Could do with a few more clothes hangers!
