The Roland - Peaceful 2BR Basement Suite Near Downtown Toronto

We enjoyed a quiet, comfy stay at this urban rustic apartment. Fully fitted kitchen, comfy bedrooms, double bathroom, made for a very pleasant stay. We had an issue, a resolution was attempted and the communication was excellent and while the issue not resolved, a small refund was quickly agreed. The communication was excellent, and instructions were very easy to follow. The apartment has a washer dryer for use, and complementary tea and coffee, shower gel shampoo and conditioner.

All was good. 😊

I liked how spacious and comfortable the suite was. 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms was very convenient and is always a welcome feature. The security systems were very good and provided safety to the guests. I also liked the online guest system because it gave me a little more freedom and i didn’t have to worry about dealing with front desk like with most hotels. The location of the suites were very convenient for me. I was able to get around the city comfortably.

I think some of the things inside the suite could be updated or replaced. The tips of the shower head on the left bathroom are rusty, so i had to shower in the other bathroom. Also the white blankets had some staining as well as the mattresses. I know that’s common in hotels, but i would appreciate at least the blankets being swapped out for brand new ones every now and then.

Location, amenities and clear communication from the host.

I liked everything.
