The Scenic Hotel

The scenic is in an excellent location for exploring the nightlife, markets, river. It is quiet, comfortable and extremely good value. I’ve been before and was a returning guest. Only open for about 2 years it still has that fresh new feeling. The staff are very friendly from the security/doorman to the house keeping staff they really look after you but the 3 girls on the front desk are real diamonds, they’re friendly, efficient and helpful and never stop smiling they made my stay even better than it was last time. I will be booking again within the next week or two for February.

Only criticism is there is no food options available at the hotel and there should be. Nothing fancy required just simple rice dishes, sandwiches, fries etc and some coffee options. There is a Cambodian restaurant which opens at night right next door and a coffee shop on the other side but some in-house options would make this a 10 rating from me.

Clean, quiet and spacious rooms with a great bed, and a soaking tub in the bathroom - perfect after a long flight. Very friendly staff. Great location in the heart of Phnom Penh. While the hotel doesn’t offer food, there’s a couple of places on the same street and Grab orders are easy to arrange.

The hotel is on a perfect place, near from 3 markets, near from the river and near (but not too close) of bars and restaurant. The personal is very helpful and the roof-top swimming pool is fantastic. Very small one, but clean, nice space for sitting and a nice view over the town.

The check-in-process is one of the most complicated I ever had. It feels like, that you have to check more document than when buying the hotel. But this is the only negative point: Once you're in, you wont have any administration left-

everything from staff, room, location and reasonable price, the rooftop pool is so cool.
