Our vacation home, “Helene im Norden”—affectionately known as “the cabin”—invites you to enjoy a relaxing stay. Bornholt is a small, predominantly agricultural community. From the vacation home, there are many routes for hiking or biking. Direct access to the Kiel Canal is just 200 meters away. The North Sea (Meldorf Bay) is about a good half-hour drive away. Hamburg, the Baltic Sea, and Kiel are about an hour’s drive away. Various swimming spots are accessible by bike.

The Bornholt vacation home offers a cozy atmosphere in a stylish setting. The house is well-insulated, staying cool in the summer and cozy and warm by the stove in the fall and winter. The house is divided into three areas: a sleeping area with a 1.80 m bed, a corner sofa with a TV, a stove, and a reading chair, and the kitchen/dining area. The bathroom features a shower and a washing machine. You can cook in a rustic style on a modern 4-burner gas stove, and a kettle provides hot water for coffee and tea.
A clothes dryer is located in the shed and can be used as needed. A parking space for one car is reserved for you.
The accommodation has various outdoor seating areas and is nestled in a beautiful garden with a small fish pond. Since the vacation home is located at the back of the property, you’ll have plenty of privacy. The entire property is very quiet. The surrounding area consists of farmland with pastures and croplands.
Your hosts are Tanja and Mr. Jessen. We are open-minded and tolerant. We enjoy traveling ourselves—by motorcycle, bicycle, or RV.
