Inverness, which is the capital of the highlands, is only 14 miles away, where you will find a large variety of shops, fine restaurants, pubs, theatre, museums and galleries. Amongst the many activities available are boat trips and watersports on Loch Ness (it’s a good monster spotting area) and the Moray coast, mountain biking and walking in the many forest trails. It is also a great place for photography with a huge abundance of birds and wildlife on the doorstep.
