We appreciated the host meeting us at check in. The hosts dog was cute! Bed was comfortable, great to have a washing machine to use. Great to have a secured driveway for parking. Patio was a great location to relax and enjoy the provided wine. Home was located in a nice neighborhood. Please note that the neighbor may chat with you as you enjoy the patio. Not a problem but want to share in case you expect full privacy.
This is not the hosts fault but be warned that you should not use the Google maps link on booking.com! It sent us to a generic locationin the park, driving extremely narrow and windy streets. Based on the "hideaway" name, we were expecting somehting a little more secluded but the neighborhood was good. Slight odor in bathroom (would guess from a drain issue).

Beautiful traditionally built house with all the creatire comforts
It could use a bit of renovation on the upper floor, otherwise a very charming house

Lovely peaceful self contained retreat close to nature yet only a couple km car ride into main castles of sintra and old town. Highly recommend- host was lovely even bringing us coffee pods. Loved it and to have secure parking on the premises was great.
