Cee Shade Villa - Maha Induruwa

Wonderful place with a beautiful colonial style. All family created over 100 years. Lots of historical features. Well maintained and beautiful gardens. Hosts so friendly. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Great bathroom with a a hot shower. We were welcomed with a coconut milk. And a friendly smile. Felt really looked after. Home made lemonade. Which was worth the visit alone. We booked breakfast and over our two mornings had two different local Sri Lankan treats. Omelets. Rotis fruit. We would really recommend a stay with the wonderful friendly welcoming family. Close to the station and quite natural beach. You will leave smiling.

Leaving a lovely place

Die Gastgeber waren super lieb und haben uns jeden Tag ein sehr liebevolles Frühstück gezaubert! Die Unterkunft war zudem sehr sauber, wir hatten eine schöne zeit :)

The house is gorgeous and have character. The couple are like your parents who would get out of their way to do anything that they can for you. They even allowed us to cook and refused to charge us extra. They feel like a family for us. Property is very close to the beach, quiet beach which we really liked.

Though the street is quiet there are loads of stray dogs that would constantly bark at us. People don't normally stop them (like how we would back home), the couple that hosted us said that they don't bite but it's still a bit scary. It's not the hosts fault though but just to be aware.
