We stayed at The Huckleberry Lodge for 5 days and 4 nights and had a very pleasant experience. While the décor is not particularly modern, the home was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. It had everything we needed for our stay and was very well stocked with supplies and amenities. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making guests feel at home. We appreciated the comfort, convenience, and attention to detail, and would happily stay here again. We had a slight issue with finding the Lodge even with all of the tips and links from the website. I would add this detail for future guests: Look for the « Gateway Inn Motor Lodge » on Harvie Heights road. Drive into their parking lot and take a LEFT. Huckleberry Lodge is actually next to and a little behind the Gateway Lodge.

It was a lovely place to stay and had a beautiful view of the mountains outside the front door.

Huckleberry Lodge is a great spot for a mountain getaway at a pretty good value. The accommodation was cozy, the kitchen was fully stocked and ready to cook and *most importantly* the location is ideal - set between Canmore and Banff. Keep in mind that the amenities are pretty old and thus a bit rough around the edges - if you're looking for modern or sleek then this is not the cabin for you. But if you're happy to look past a noisy bathroom fan and some finishes that're past their prime then give Huckleberry Lodge a chance. Thank Tina and Steve!
