1. Convenient Location: 5 mins walk to the Dashashwamedh Ghat for Ganga Aarti, boat hire and Kashi temple, two key attractions in Varanasi.
2. Cleanliness: By indian standards, the property, room and tiled bathroom were very clean with constant hot running water, backup electricity and AC.
3: Staff: The owner and help are good humans with interesting stories to share should one like to chit chat.
I was happy for what i got and what i paid aware of the tradeoffs.
1. Be aware, the rooms are very small barely fitting a double bed though the bed has storage space underneath for 2 normal size suitcases. The bathroom is normal size.
2. All the rooms are on the 2nd floor and above with a very narrow staircase to go up and one tiny window. Might not be an issue if you have a backpack though hauling normal suitcases up will require significant effort.
3. The convenient location is also a downside as the area gets heavily congested with tourist crowds all day and night, foreigners may likely hate the chaos alongside narrow alleyways.

L’emplacement à 2 minutes des Gaths. La gentillesse de l’hôte qui nous a offert des samosas et le thé à notre retour de visite pour partager un moment de vie.
Chambre petite si vous avez beaucoup de bagages.

Excellent stay at Shree Murlidhar Residency. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It is within walking distance of Dashashwamedh Ghat and Kashi Vishwanath Temple, making it a perfect location for visitors. The staff is polite, helpful, and courteous. Overall, a pleasant and value-for-money stay in Varanasi.

Good location and the owner/manger was very friendly.
Very small room with no place to put any of your bags or luggage, not the cleanest of rooms and the bathroom is a bit grim.
