TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DURING MY STAY AT THIS PROPERTY

Quiet and convenient location. Apartment had everything you could need for a self catering stay. Entry is via a key box with security code provided on day of arrival

Property was dark in mid December as no natural sunlight enters the windows which are at street level so no privacy unless shutters are closed. No heating in the property. Bedroom was cold and felt damp. Had to use blankets and sleep in a hoodie to keep warm. Clothes stored in the wardrobes felt very cold when worn. A heavy rain storm passed over the Canary islands and for 24 hours water poured through the ceiling of the building and also poured through the cooker extraction hood and flooded the kitchen benchtop, electric sockets and kitchen floor. I could not use any appliances or leave the apartment to eat and spent 24 hours including throughout the night placing buckets and mop buckets under the dripping water and emptying them at intervals and mopping all 3 floors of internal staircases of the property floors to prevent damage. I saved the property from more serious damage and lost one day of my holiday but the owner did not even thank me and refused or make any gesture of compensation for my actions taken to protect her interests and the 'lost' 24 hours of my holiday despite me alerting the agent on the island managing the property of the issue and sending photos and video of the damage and a request to be compensated for my action taken and the time lost during my stay. I just hope all of the electrics were inspected and made safe for the next guest and that urgent repairs to the leaking structure have taken place

Good

I had a quiet and comfortable stay here, the apartment is inside a 3 story town house with 2 rental apartments and a shared roof attic. The roof floor has sun-loungers and a washing room with a laundry machine and a drier (shared among the 2 apartments), the Wifi is also stable and fast. While there is no parking included it is easy to find available public parking nearby

There is no view inside the apartment to speak of as it is facing a quiet village road, I also found the small towels not my liking as they didn't dry properly
