We had a wonderful stay at Filipa and Louis’ place. It really felt like a home away from home and looked just like the photos. The apartment was clean, comfortable, welcoming and very thoughtfully prepared. Filipa and Louis were super responsive, friendly, understanding and helpful before and during our stay, even though they weren’t there in person. They sent very clear check-in instructions and also helped me arrange a small birthday surprise with Portuguese beers and snacks, which was such a lovely and thoughtful touch. When we needed help with something during the stay, they were incredibly kind and handled it so well. The bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked really well and was quiet, which was especially appreciated during the heatwave in Europe. The sea view was amazing both during the day and at night. The balcony also had a table and chairs as well as a laundry rack, which was really useful after days at the beach. We also really appreciated the beach umbrella, which came in very handy as we were travelling with hand luggage only. The location was excellent. The beach, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, pharmacy and luggage-storage options are all nearby, and the transport links are great. Apart from Uber and Bolt, Quarteira Bus Station is just across the street from the back entrance of the building, with affordable public transport options: to/from the airport with direct FlixBus (~25 minutes) or bus 55 (~35 minutes), plus direct buses to Lisbon (~3.5 hours). The building itself had a friendly feel, and the neighbours we met were nice and welcoming. The area generally felt quiet and safe to walk around at night. The World Cup was also on during our stay, and the smart TV came in very handy when we decided to stay in for one of the matches. We were able to mirror the match from our laptop and watch it comfortably in the apartment. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and would love to return next time. Highly recommended! :)

The only small downside, which is of course not the hosts’ fault, was some late-night noise from a nearby bar during our stay. We had to close the windows instead of sleeping with the sound of the waves, but thankfully the air con helped a lot with the airflow.

Adorei a localização e o apartamento tinha o essencial para passar as férias. A vista era fantástica.

Great location, clean with everything you need for a short break, easy to access and quick responses from the owners

Building work in the appt next to the bedroom starting at 8.20 in the morning, it made the appt unusable for the day, it was quieter the following day, I know this is out of the owners control but it virtually ruined our short 4 night break as the weather was a bit mixed especially in the mornings when we just wanted to chill
