A mini fridge was very welcome and saved us from overpaying for breakfast. The room was overall clean except for some less used/checked parts, but we had no worries of insects or stuff like that. The bathroom was very nice, clean, shower was hot and had good water pressure. There was shower gel, soap, pretty smelling shampoo and a place to put your clothes and cosmetics. The bed was big and comfy. Big tv with access to WiFi and good internet connection. The AC worked fine. The door codes were very simple to use and let us check in from very late plane or get split from eachother (most places give one key per room). The location felt pretty safe. Its a 15 minute walk from Alicante Terminal and 40 min from shore and platja de pastiguet, we mostly walked everywhere by foot as the buses would take similar time.

Even though the room is very spacy its covered in things that take up space. I love art but the sheer volume of decorations made the room distasteful, dusty and less functional. The only empty cupboards were either wobbly, had no working door knobs etc. Im guessing decorations also make it harder to clean every nook as we found some things left by previous tenants. No electric kettle, which should be an absolute standard - and there was so much space to put it on! There was a small bathroom bin and no real trash cans, we had to take food packaging out to the city. We only got one thin towel each so I had to decide wheter to wash my body or hair... For a city thats famous mostly for beaches its pretty obvious that people are gonna shower twice a day and would need a different towel for washing from the sandy sea water. Only two small hooks in the bathroom, no space to dry things fully. Air conditioning worked well but left water on the floor. We would probably prefer for the bed to be at a different wall as the window let in all the noise from midnight partygoers.
