Yolanda is a great host. The condo is nicely decorated, equipped ,and the beds are very comfortable. There is easy access to the pool and it’s just a few minutes walk to the beach. It is a good location for other attractions too. I can definitely recommend Yolanda and her home.

I loved that the unit was on the ground floor! Our patio was just a few feet from the pool gate. It was so nice to walk out the back door and be at the pool. The kids loved it! (And so did I!) The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had 6 people for this stay and had plenty of towels! I would go back in a heartbeat!

The room was clean, the location was good regarding proximity to the beach, it was walking distance to the beach but you do have to cross the main road at the crosswalk. Not very far from the condo and the beach wagon located in one of the closet of the condo was super helpful for walking down the sidewalk with beach gear and kids to go to the beach. Gated parking area was great and plenty of parking spots near our condo. We drove down the sea wall to restaurants and downtown to the strand. Not far from any of that but to far to walk with little kids and older adults. Driving was very easy though. Parking downtown costs unless you find a free spot and parking on the sea wall for restaurants is a little crowded but we figured it out. We also ate at rainforest cafe. We have dined at multiple locations and this one was by far the best regarding the food. We had a great time overall and would definitely stay at Doc’s quarters again.

Honest review: 6/10The condo was decent. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were stocked with important amenities. Everything worked as it should. Checkin was simple and quick, and the front office staff was quickly accommodating in providing the parking pass permit and wrist bands.Although, during and after staying I have a few concerns. The primary bathroom shower was not draining. I let the owner know, and hopefully that issue would be taken care of before the next guest. However, the cleaning staff may not be up to par. There was an abandoned half-spilled coke bottle underneath the primary bed sticking to the floor.Given that it’s a beach condo, sandy floors didn’t bother me too much, but still. Then there’s a privacy issue, I’m not sure if it was the condo or random. But I signed into a streaming account on 1 tv in the condo, and I was alerted that somewhere in Galveston, someone else had signed into my account. I didn’t sign in anywhere else, and how could anyone get my email and password (not an easy guess). As a result, I had to change my password.Overall, I had a good vacation without problems. Just a few quirks but, I would return.
