In the cooler months, return from your adventures to a roaring wood-burning stove, creating a cosy haven no matter the weather. Set above the village of Coniston and reached by a steep, winding track, the cottage is just a short walk from shops, pubs, and restaurants.

The entrance porch is ideal for storing muddy boots and outdoor gear. The character-filled lounge features leather seating arranged around the Inglenook fireplace; perfect for relaxing with a book or watching TV beside the crackling stove. The fully equipped dining kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a delicious meal, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine, with space to gather at the dining table.

Upstairs, two inviting double bedrooms await: one with a king-size bed and exposed beams, the other with a cosy double bed. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath, hand basin, and WC.

All electricity, bed linen, towels, and an initial supply of logs are included. A cot and stairgate are available, and there is private parking for two cars just 200 yards from the property.
