The Space:

Lakeview House, Ballyconneely

Tucked away in the heart of Ballyconneely, Lakeview House is a retreat where time slows and the wild beauty of Connemara unfolds at your doorstep. From the moment you arrive, the scene is set: mountains rising in the distance, a shimmering lake just beyond your window, and the vast skies that shift with every passing hour.

As the day begins, the Connemara landscape greets you: shifting skies, tranquil waters, and a horizon that seems endless. Afternoons might be spent walking the sandy shores of nearby Mannin Bay, cycling along quiet country lanes, or simply watching the light sweep across the mountains from the comfort of the open-plan living area. As evening draws in, gather around the dining table with family and friends, share stories, and let the peace of the place sink in.

Inside, the home is bright, welcoming, and designed for comfort. Large windows frame the landscape outside, while the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area creates the perfect hub for connection. With four spacious bedrooms and three bathrooms, there’s ample room for groups of up to eight guests; whether you’re here for a family holiday, a reunion with friends, or a restorative escape into nature.

For families, little ones are thoughtfully catered for with children’s toys and books, while beach essentials make days by the sea effortless. Outdoor furniture invites you to linger in the fresh air, and a laptop-friendly workspace means you can stay connected, if you choose to.
