The Norfolk, Paddington

Very close to Paddington (which means very good transportation), safe surrounding. The staff is nice and welcoming. In my room I got a lot of little accessories (extra towels, slippers, tooth cleaning set, lotions, etc). The room was quite - with a window to the park, comfortable bed. The room has nice warm lighting. With the switches being close to the bed. All-in-all I can recommend.

Very-super narrow staircase. (My room was on floor 4). The breakfast is a-la-carte and I had the feeling that it did not worth it. For the price of it, I could have also taken a breakfast somewhere else that is more and not served in a small room underground. My room was small. Not a problem for me, but might be too small for some. (However I think that is a possibility everywhere in Central London) No shower curtain on the shower - which in combination with the very small nature of the room and its bathroom caused that some of the showerwater-spill flowed directly into the room.

Fab location for where we needed to be, right by paddington station, early check in was available, reception staff were lovely and great value for money. Great for a short stay!

Khaoula was very helpful with every request. Big thanks to her. Hotel was very close to Paddington station. Super accessible from Heathrow airport and underground to the city.

There was a heavy smell from outside (maybe from the kitchen) so it wasn’t pleasant to open the window to get fresh air in.

The location is fantastic and with air con is great, staff were friendly and held luggage for us ! And we were able to check in early which was fab! The stairs aren’t as bad as people make it out to be at alll

The cleanliness wasn’t fantastic , there was a smoked old cigarette underneath the curtain when I moved it to close the curtains and mold in the corners of the shower alongside a lot of hairs on the bedding :(
