This property is in a great location with everything on your doorstep. It's a spacious property, accommodating 6 adults, and feels homely with a comprehensive supply of things you may need when staying away from home for a short break.
A nice touch was a selection of teas, coffee, hot chocolate, butter, jam and even bread.
Communication with the owners was very good and they were extremely flexible about us accessing the property to drop off bags early which was really appreciated.
This was my second stay at the property and both times we've really enjoyed our stay so highly recommend to families/ friends looking for a home from home stay. The only comment I would raise is that we didn't manage to get the heating downstairs to come on this time. It wasn't a big issue as it wasn't overly cold but another heat source in the lounge may be good over winter months.

Location was central, which suited us. It was very quiet within the property. Our 7 and 8 year old grand children enjoyed themselves, as the home was spread over 4 floors, so beautifully decorated and very clean. As a bonus, they enjoyed a game of table tennis in the basement. So did the rest of the family. The TV room in the basement was also an added bonus.
All in all, we had a wonderful experience.
Our family of 6 were accommodated under one roof. The owners, Emma and Phil made this possible. They were amazing, They understood our situation and made it possible for a 70th birthday Mum, her Son and Grand daughter, come together, under one roof.
We were so grateful for our Hosts' understanding and reaction to our request. It was all positive. We had a wonderful time.
The kitchen-diner was very hot with the bright sunshine streaming through its large, picturesque window, during the bank holiday heatwave. It made teatime uncomfortable but it was easily rectified by temporarily adding shade to the window.

Great location, lovely bedrooms and quirky cinema room. It was a good base for visiting family nearby, so most of our time was spent with them rather than at the property.
The stairs are very steep - a bit tricky for arthritic knees! But they are typical of the age and style of the property, which is lovely overall.

The whole house felt quite grubby , not particularly clean . It needs a fresh coat of paint
