Mervin e Indu son excelentes. Este lugar es más que un alojamiento, es llegar a casa. Su hospitalidad es remarcable. Hazles saber qué necesitas y, sea lo que sea, lo pondrán a tu disposición. Yo traía una necesidad un poco especial; encontrar un trabajo. Para mí grata sorpresa, Marvin se puso inmediatamente manos a la obra y me conectó con los negocios locales. ¿Quién hace esto sino un ángel? Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, acogedoras y limpias. Cuentan con cuarto de baño individual y aire acondicionado. La casa es encantadora, y los balcones llenos de plantas y flores. La comida es excepcional, Indu cocina todo en casa con mucho amor. Se adaptaron a mi intolerancia a la lactosa sin problema, y tenían siempre leche de coco para mí café! El lugar está convenientemente cerca del centro de Colombo (unos 30 min en tuktuk), pero en un entorno tranquilo, fuera del ajetreo dela ciudad, donde te despertarán los pajaritos. Marvin conoce muy bien todos los lugares y estará encantado de organizar para ti paseos en la naturaleza, visita a la ciudad, transportes... Un punto de vista local que te ahorrará tiempo y dinero Os recomiendo esta experiencia de sentir que llegas a casa aún estando en un país nuevo. Gracias Marvin e Indu!!! I had such a wonderful stay here and honestly couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming experience. The property itself is beautiful, comfortable, with gorgeous balcony views. Mervin and Indu were amazing hosts. From the minute I arrived, they were incredibly kind and welcoming. I arrived quite late in the evening and they prepared me a delicious home cooked dinner, which was perfect after a long journey. They were also incredibly helpful, helping me look into taxi arrangements and offering recommendations on places to visit, and things to see in Sri Lanka. It felt like a real home away from home, and I hope to stay again!

I have no words to describe how FANTASTIC this homestay is. I gave it a 10/10, but here I can give it 10000 out of 10. The owner is a decent human being that will welcome you with open arms and make you feel at home. I had an issue with my hired car and he promptly stopped what he was doing to help me. And he found a solution that saved me hundreds of dollars. I doubt you will ever find a better place to stay in Colombo, especially at this price. The room is super comfortable, the food is great and the hospitality is outstanding. Stop looking for accommodation anywhere else, I promise you that you can’t and won’t find better and won’t be disappointed.
