THE EXTAY Lounge Jongno

Great location, clean, super helpful and responsive staff, great amenities (free laundry, lounge, umbrellas, contact free check out, steamer, kitchen and a shop). It's so close to all the shops in Insa-dong and a 20-25 minute walk to the place and to pick up the open top bus. For any runners/walkers, it's a 2 minute walk to the Cheonggyecheon Stream (which runs through the heart of the north part of Seoul and was reopened in 2005). It's easy to do a 20k loop, if not more (very flat and very pretty).

2 things to flag (but I'd still stay here again). 1. There is unlimited small hand towels, but no larger bath or shower towels. Good to note if you're staying with friends / family. 2. The room is not cleaned but there's a large bin and dirty towels deposit in the corridors so it's easy to keep your space clean.

Everything. Hot and cold shower, clean bathroom and cr, towels are clean and smells good, bed is comfy including the bed sheet, own socket and lights, the shampoo and body wash smells good, hair dryer is also provided, contactless check in and check out which are also super easy to use, easy access and fast wifi, complete kitchen with unmanned mini store for late night cravings, free use of washing machine. Everything.

I had a good day at this hotel. They have a very easy system for check-in. Nothing complicated upstairs. They have a small convenience store where I normally enjoy something easy for breakfast because I’m lazy to go out in the morning. The bed is actually nice and you have a little bit of privacy. The bathroom was clean. The locker is easy to use. the cleaning staffs are friendly and very helpful. The location is amazing. You can walk almost everywhere for example : Jongro, Myeongdong. There was also one coffee stall that I like which close to the hotel.

In the bathroom, there are only three mirror which sometime it can be frustrating when each of the girls spend a long time putting makeup on and maybe the other person want to use it. Or maybe someone is in rush to check out

Beds are next level hard and uncomfortable. The front desk was empty 90% of our stay.
