Since there are few hotels and other lodging options near the University of Tsukuba, this is the perfect choice for business travelers, international students, and those seeking short- to medium- or long-term stays. Additionally, because the surroundings are very quiet, it’s highly recommended as a place to concentrate on your studies, work, or artistic pursuits. Mount Tsukuba is accessible by car from the lodging, and the property includes one free parking space. It takes about 25 minutes by car to reach Tsukuba Shrine at the foot of Mount Tsukuba, and a shuttle bus also runs from Tsukuba Station. From Tsukuba Shrine, there are several hiking trails, and you can also take the aerial cableway to the summit. Be sure to enjoy the spectacular view from Mount Tsukuba at least once! While you’re surrounded by nature, you also have easy access to the convenient city center. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the Research Academy City, where the city hall and other facilities are located, and there are plenty of shopping malls and restaurants there as well. You can rent an entire room (studio type, 20 m²) exclusively for yourself. Although the room is compact, it is fully equipped with everything you need. The room comes with ample amenities, making it suitable not only for short-term stays but also for stays ranging from a few weeks to several months.
