Spotless shared bathrooms with never a wait, fast wifi that handled video calls, and a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the gongs calling people to morning sitting, and the 5 a.m. wake-up bells were hardly noticeable. The early-evening quiet hours meant no shenanigans.
Nothing about the property itself. The surrounding blocks and San Francisco in general have street homelessness, so be prepared for that on walks to and from.

Es un lugar muy especial, impecable, limpio, silencioso, mistico. Las personas muy respetuosas de que no hicieramos parte de esta comunidad, aunque no teniamos planeado participar de las actividades, lo hicimos y fue increible poder compartir el espacio. El desayuno delicioso. En general supero mis espectativas.
Es lindo poder encontrar estos espacio de calma y silencio en medio de una ciudad con tantas vibras.

The historic building is large with spacious rooms and a lovely outdoor courtyard. The shared bathrooms are recently renovated and there was no waiting. The chef kindly allowed me to make a pour over coffee very early.
My phone battery died and I arrived after 9 pm. No one was there to let me in and I couldn’t access the text with the entry code. A neighbor let me use her electric outlet to charge my phone. The bathrooms needed more careful cleaning - dust and little hairs were on the corners of countertops and floors.
