This house has everything you need and more!! The place is clean and neat. Kitchen is well equipped. Waking up with a stunning view from our room. Wish we could've stayed longer. Will definitely recommend it. Nice location between Robertson and McGregor .

Place was absolutely amazing. It has everything you need and more. The dishwasher and air fryer was extra bonuses and the hosts were so accommodating and very friendly. They literally thought of everything one could need and then provided it. They also left us baked bread, a bottle of wine and chocolates on our pillows. This really just added that something extra.

Beautiful and spacious areas.Storage, workspace and Decor were all well thought out;Extra blankets in every room of the house plus electric blankets on all the beds made for a comfy nights sleep in the chilly nights. Ample wood was provided, with extra being dropped off on request. Kitchen set up was a plenty, and there's even a dishwasher and clothes washer in the roomy scullery. Love that it's a combination of an old farm building and new build. Hot tub was a winner (be sure to give it a few hours to heat up) McGregor town is a mere 5 kms away with some lovely quaint restaurants and pubs.

The Indoor braai struggled to clear smoke. There was a fan installed, and we were informed that the previous guests had blown it by building a fire that was too large. It was allegedly replaced and did work for a short period of time but then tripped the electricity/blew again. I don't think this was of any fault to to the owners and more down to an unfortunate incident of the previous guests. They did try to rectify the situation. The only downfall would be if the issue of getting the smoke to draw out of the lounge could not be fixed meaning an indoor fire could not be lit, to take the edge off the coldness of western cape winter. I would suggest using Waze AND google maps to check road closures in the area around the Breede River, as we found that closures were reported sometimes on only one of those platforms, leaving us needing to drive all the way around from Robertson (there's a bridge that's currently closed due to flooding damage) via back roads (including some dirt roads) to reach McGregor. On the way home to Cape Town via Rawsonville, we again encountered a closed bridge and had to back track to the N1 to go around.

What an amazing stay we had! Beautiful scenery, proper set-up, lovely, functional cute house with everything you need! Will definitely be back!
