A stay at this beautiful, character-filled cottage was an absolute treat! My room felt so homely and welcoming from the moment I stepped inside. Tony was an incredible host—warm, charming, and genuinely attentive. As a huge dog lover, getting to fuss over Sunny was a highlight that completely made my day. Breakfast was thoroughly delicious, topped off with wonderful, friendly conversation. I can't wait to return!

We very much enjoyed chatting with the host, and the breakfast was varied with good quality ingredients. We slept well in a comfy bed and had plenty of space and storage. The location was ideal for The Cott Inn, The Butterfly & Otter Centre, Riverford Field Kitchen and Buckfastleigh Steam Train.

Very comfortable bed and room, a lovely welcome from Toni, and a really good breakfast. Only minutes away from a superb dinner at The Cott Inn. Everything you need for an overnight stay.

It was all fine. Flexibility around food since I bought some of my own through necessity. Host happy to accommodate this.
Room could've been a little bit more spacious perhaps, it was somewhat cramped and difficult to move around the beds with the suitcases and cupboard all pushed up together.
