Very charming and comfortable

There were ants the first few days, but the owner had someone spray.

The location worked well for our stay in Kona. Driveway for parking is tight but absolutely manageable, free, and off the street. Hosts are prompt and responsive, self check-in and checkout were simple. There were thoughtful amenities like earplugs, sleep masks, aloe, sunscreen, etc. It is cozy for a couple—no door between room and washroom which isn’t an issue for us. A/C was a godsend.

Poor soundproofing as the floor above is quite noisy. We did find some small roaches which are common in Hawaii but host did assure that they do practice pest control.

Everything was very comfortable and welcoming. The host was very communicative and willing to help with small requests. All necessary kitchenware was provided, as well as dishwashing supplies and various toiletries. It was especially nice to see even aloe and sunscreen available. Once again, I want to emphasize that it was very clean and overall an excellent place — I would definitely come back here 1000%.

The only downside is the tight parking space, but I got used to it after two days.

I personally liked the toiletries provided by the host as they were all non chemical based and liked the locality it was peaceful and good.

I was not happy with the room specification as the pictures not the details said there was no door for a bathroom which was very weird for us as it was a small studio apartment infact they used the garage space to make it a studio room but having a door was really basic as hygiene matters because right beside you have a pantry and dining space and a bed to sleep it’s not at all suitable and felt very discomfort with that part. Unfortunately the laundry services don’t work during tye time we were there and had to ping host several times to reach out to us and personally get it checked. Which was troublesome for them and us as well. We were also disappointed with parking space provided which was not convenient to park our 4WD vehicle as the entry and exit was the same way and very narrow for any vehicle .Overally we were entirely disappointed with the stay and dint expect that so much of misinformation lead us to total dissatisfaction and such a property I dint expect from the booking.com site.
