It was a home with a lot of character within a short walk to the town centre. The fireplace was a welcome feature on chilly nights. Enjoyed having breakfast in the sun drenched dining room surrounded by the beautiful garden.

It would be great if there was somewhere to hang clothes. Even a simple rack with coat hangers would suffice. Carrying luggage up and down the spiral staircase was a little bit scary.

Loved the space and the history of the house . It was in walking distance to the main part of St Helen’s . It’s beautiful decor, comfortable beds . The house is immaculate. It spacious enough for a few families. We had a girls weekend away and we found it was perfect for all our needs . Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful house .

Some people may want more heating in winter , We were comfortable enough . But I’m sure the Staff would provide extra heaters if asked , as your comfort is one of their main priorities.
