GOLF COURSE:

This par-72 course spans up to 7,200 yards and blends seamlessly with the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla. Play through tropical forests and along the Pacific coast, which offers a stunning backdrop of blue waters.

Seasonal rates: Sunset rates apply after 1:00 p.m. Super Twilight rates apply after 3:00 p.m.

TENNIS COURTS:

Hacienda Pinilla features three hard-court tennis courts with on-site instructors who offer a wide variety of tennis and pickleball clinics, lessons, and court rentals.

* Monday, 8:30–9:30 a.m.: Fit-Tennis (all levels) – $ 15
* Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Advanced clinic – $ 20
* Thursday, 4:00–5:30 p.m.: Intermediate clinic – $ 20
* Saturday, 8:30–10:30 a. a.m.: Pickleball Clinic – $ 10

Court Rentals:

HORSE STABLES:

Explore 16 kilometers of scenic trails that wind through dry forests and lead to the pristine sands of Playa Langosta. Guided horseback riding tours can be customized, ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Cyclists will ride through lush forests, secluded beaches, and serene river mouths—all within Hacienda Pinilla.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TRAILS:

The ranch offers 30 kilometers of professional trails and 15 kilometers of recreational trails, perfect for biking, hiking, or exploring the expansive 4,500-acre property.

SURFING:

Hacienda Pinilla is an exceptional base for a Costa Rican surfing trip. With six breaks at Playa Avellanas and private access to the beach breaks at Playa Langosta, you won’t have to leave the ranch. For those seeking more adventure, the famous reef breaks at Playa Negra are just 10 minutes south, while the river mouth and the breaks at Tamarindo Beach are 10 minutes north.

This private residence is located within the Lagos de Palma Real gated community at Hacienda Pinilla in Costa Rica, specifically in the private Lagos de Palma Real condominium.

Renting a car is strongly recommended, as neighborhood amenities and local restaurants are not within walking distance.

Given the size of Hacienda Pinilla, we recommend that you stop to buy groceries before you arrive, especially after a long day of traveling, when you may not feel like going out again.

If you’re expecting guests during your stay, please let the host know in advance so they can be added to the guest list at the main gate.
