BEAT 1932 Hostel at Chinatown

It is located in China Town and you can access to so many good restaurants nearby. Easy to reach there by mrt or bus. There 2 line of mrt nearby which just 2-3 mins of walking. And there is street market across the street as well.

The upper bed is quite difficult to climb up.

Good location for getting around and very close to a food court.

Female dormitory with 2 showers and 2 toilets, which feels a bit insufficient, especially since there is no space to place personal items. I was assigned a bed that was partially behind a wall, making access more difficult compared to others. There is a rule about not wearing shoes inside, but the room was still full of shoes. There is no proper space for luggage or backpacks, so everything ends up in the middle of the room, making the dorm quite messy. Only a very small locker with a code is available, barely big enough for a handbag. Mine was broken, and the power outlets by my bed didn’t hold chargers properly. I tried another bed and they worked, but of course I couldn’t use someone else’s outlet. Overall, I would only recommend it for a one-night stopover when you don’t need comfort or convenience.
