Hotel Sofia Samarkand

Hotel qui vient d'ouvrir avec extension en cours dans bâtiment adjacent. Tenu par une famille de 2 frères aidés par fils avec lequel communication en anglais possible quand il est là (étudiant). Attentifs et serviables même si en russe. Prix raisonnable pour un quartier agréable à proximité du restaurant Platan connu des chauffeurs de taxis. Sur rue animée et passante mais double vitrages+clim pour la nuit. Petit dèj basique mais correct pour moi. magasin d'alimentation à 100m.

Pas de frigo dans les chambres. Pas d'ascenseur et marches à gravir (pb. seulement si peu mobile ce qui est mon cas.). Rien de catastrophique.

- Owner was supportive and friendly to us, even booked taxi for us to hotel. He spoke English very well. - Good location in city center, easy go to anywhere. - Rooms were clean and good condition. - Value for money, free breakfast.

Bardzo sympatyczna i uczynna obsługa - można się porozumiewać po rosyjsku, a młody recepcjonista mówi doskonale po angielsku. Hotel mieści się na pierwszym piętrze - wejście po schodach. Mieszkaliśmy w pokoju z widocznym na zdjęciu balkonem. Hotel oddalony od centrum. Wszędzie można dojechać taksówką, maksymalnie 20 000 sumów. Pieszo dojście do centrum zajmowało 30 minut. Możliwość korzystania z lodówki w dostępnej cały czas kuchni, czajnik w pokoju. Sprawnie działająca klimatyzacja, wygodne łóżka. Czysto w pokoju. Cicha i spokojna dzielnica.

Wszystko było ok.

No lift. For disabled and people with suitcases its difficult. Room plugs. Only one plug in the room. Not next to the bedroom side shelves. This made it hard to charge devices next to the bed. In the Bathroom the shower riser was not secured on the wall and wobbled. Breakfast was made by an unfriendly woman. Breakfast was very limited. Entrance was behind. In a car park. The surroundings was a messy building site. The building photos present a false view of the entrance. No lighting switches by bed. Sharp white light snd no dimmer.
