Wonderfully remote and quiet. A treat to have a hot spa outside under the stars with special lighting in trees. The next morning we did an hour walk to an impressive waterfall that we swam under. Great coffee and continental buffet.

The location is very good and special. I saw fireflies that I haven't seen for many years. The room is very clean and tidy, which is a very good experience.

The property is clean, well equipped. Good customer service and quiet.

Access a little of bite difficult,we couldn’t find the entrance easily.

Onetai is a special place. The setting in the NZ bush is both beautiful and exciting and the light features created by the host Steve are stunning. The house is very welcoming and comfortable with everything you could need for a nice stay, but the bonus upon bonuses is the host Steve. Steve is unassuming but packs a lot talent and skill in what he has created at Onetai but also as an exceptional host in every way. Nothing is too hard. We had an exceptional breakfast with superb coffee. The surrounding nature is accessible through a very cool trail and Steve also took us down his road to see Glow worms at night. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect.
