Well kept community close to the pool The property could use some minor up grades. We were not able to use the TV in the main area due to the remotes not working. The first night on the sofa a bug crawled across my arm. We looked forward to using the bikes but both pedals on the bikes were broken. Overall we were happy with the stay and the Accommodations. Lots of space and very quiet neighborhood.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Heron Bay! The house had plenty of space for all of us. Location was great, pool was clean house was fully stocked. This was our second time visiting North Myrtle and loved being in Barefoot Landing. Only a few small issues that could make it perfect. Fruit flies everywhere inside the house. They were there when we checked in. Killed probably a dozen a day or more. 2 the upstairs sink drain was broken. I noticed Friday when I checked in and was fixed Tuesday. There is only 1 sink upstairs. Also the master bed sheets don’t stay on because there is a plastic mattress protector. Bike pedals need to be tightened also.

There was plenty of room for the three adults and two kids that we had in our party. The house was very close to the community pool, which was nice. The community was quiet. We did have an issue with the dishwasher while we stayed. It was fixed within a couple days though. The kitchen was missing some basic necessities that have been at other homes that we stayed at such as salt and pepper and little things like that. The house is in need of some upgrades. Some of the furniture is dinged up and not in the best condition. Our only major complaint was the beds. They are extremely hard and uncomfortable. The pillows were also paper thin and very hard. In the master bedroom, the sheets did not fit the bed and slipped off as soon as you laid down on them.
