Crystala 2 guest house

Une guest house exceptionnelle que je recommande à 100 % ! Un immense merci à Ahmed pour sa gentillesse incroyable, sa bienveillance et son accueil si chaleureux. Il fait tout pour que l'on se sente comme à la maison et gère tout à la perfection. Mention spéciale pour les soirées sur le rooftop : la vue sur le Nil est magnifique et l'ambiance y est d'une sérénité absolue. C'était notre rituel chaque soir pour terminer la journée en beauté. Les chambres sont très propres, calmes et l'accès au ferry est ultra-rapide. Une adresse rare et authentique à Assouan !

Ahmed and his wife were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. This part of Elephantin island is laid back and great respite from the hustle that Aswan has become. The guest house is located right off the ferry (1 min walk) so very convenient. There is a also a store and restaurants next to the ferry drop off. The guest house has everything you need: a clean bed and bath, AC and roof top area for relaxing. It is a basic facility so if you want amenities stay at a hotel, but if you want peace and quiet and unmatched hospitality then this is a great place.

A little but hard to find (wasn’t on Google maps) but the people were really helpful.

We loved Crystalla II. It is located on Elephantine Island, across from Aswan, but very easy to reach by cheap ferry. So it is much quieter on the island, but you can sit on the upstairs terrace and enjoy overlooking the Nile. Our room was comfortable and cool with a really nice bathroom. We had the best nights sleep because of the comfy beds and the quiet! Breakfast on the roof is wonderful, freshly cooked and very filling. Ahmed (owner) was very communicative and hospitable. He was also able to arrange a felucca tour for us. We found everything we needed at Crystalla II and would recommend it to everyone!
