Loved the setup - there's everything you could need. Irene was an amazing host, we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful welcome and care throughout our stay. You can book taxi's by simply looking up local companies in Ponta du Sol, they use Whatsapp and are reliable, although to get the most out of your stay definitely rent a car and explore the island - especially the vocanic natural swimming pools on the North coast!
Only one slight point - there's no A/C in the room, but there is. a powerful fan. Pro tip: Don't point the fan at you, have it right at the door to the balcony (with the door open!) and leave it running; it'll cool the space quickly and consistently.
