Welcome to your home away from home! This newly built, spacious 1-bedroom basement suite is the perfect getaway for couples, solo travelers, or small groups looking to explore Nova Scotia’s best spots while enjoying a peaceful, comfortable stay.
Located in a quiet neighborhood just 15 minutes from Halifax Stanfield Airport, 10 minutes from some of Nova Scotia’s best beaches/Hiking Tr
ails, and 15 minutes from vibrant downtown Dartmouth, you’ll have easy access to everything — from scenic coastal adventures to the buzz of local restaurants, shops, and cafes.

Enjoy your own private entrance, private bathroom, and in-suite laundry — everything you need for a relaxed and convenient stay. The suite features:
• A spacious living area with cozy seating
• Smart Tv with Netflix and Disney+ included
• A comfortable bedroom for 2 guests
• Centralized air conditioning and heating (kept at 21 degrees all the time), plus an additional fan and heater for personalized comfort
• A well-equipped kitchenette with microwave, induction cooker, and water kettle
• Baby items such as crib, books, utensils etc. can be requested in advance.
You’ll also have access to 1 free parking spot and a large backyard where you can relax or stretch your legs.

Please note: this is a basement suite that is well insulated in a family home. We live upstairs and are generally quiet and considerate, but you may occasionally hear minimal sounds, including from our 2-year-old toddler. If you’re sensitive to noise, please keep this in mind before booking.

• No smoking inside the unit. Outdoor smoking is okay — just please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
• Check-in 2pm and check-out is 10am but are flexible whenever possible — just let us know your needs in advance.
• The bathroom in the basement uses up-flush pump so it is normal to hear a sound pump while flushing/using sink/shower (Please consider this upon booking).
• For safety and security reasons, reservations must be made by the person who will be staying at the property. Third-party bookings are not permitted.
The primary Vrbo account holder who made the reservation must be present during the stay.

This little Airbnb was perfect for my week stay in Halifax. It is just perfect for 1 to 2 people. Very clean, looks freshly painted and brand new. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and even though it is in somebody’s basement, you have your own private entrance, your own bathroom, washer, and dryer kitchen and living room and bedroom. Perfect for coming and going. Every once in a great while you can hear the family upstairs walking, but that was never a problem for me and never bothered me. The host was very responsive. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Halifax. It’s a very quiet, peaceful place to stay only 15 minutes drive from the city.

We enjoyed both the privacy of the apartment and the location as it was close to family we were visiting. The living room had a nice set up and enjoyed the fact that the bedroom was separate from the main area. Basic amenities provided like coffee and sweetener and the kitchen was set up for small meal prep.

Basemen suite, so very musty smelling. Back yard access, so suggest they keep it cleaned up, and cut down on the weeds.Every other property rentals, previous tenant food items frozen or canned would be left behind for next tenant, which was such a nice idea. Even ice in the freezer. Absolutely nothing kept at this property. Owner had some available forgotten travel necessities, packaged food items, even bottled at the property, with a list of the price of each item for us to leave cash on the counter for them. We didn’t mind, but thought this was unusual. Therefore, no tip.
