Perfect for a family of four, very clean. Walkable to playground. Great modern beach house. Very small but has everything you need. Shower room was very popular with our children, barn door to bathroom may not be ideal for everyone. We stay at Folly several times a year and this is a place we would stay again.

Overall, this was an okay place to stay for a quick beach trip, but there were several issues that impacted our experience. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the mattress felt very worn and broken down. We also had a package delivered about an hour before check-in, but when we arrived it was missing. We contacted customer service, and thankfully it was returned two days later. We appreciated that it was found, but unfortunately it was near the end of our stay, so we weren’t able to use it for what we had planned. We were told we would receive a message when the property was ready for check-in, but never did. When we arrived, the lockbox code we were given didn’t work, and we had to wait for Castaway to respond and direct us to a different lockbox with the correct code. The washing machine also would not work, which made things especially challenging while traveling with young children. On the positive side, the large indoor shower was a huge hit with the kids and was perfect for rinsing off after the beach. The location was convenient, and the home served its purpose for a short stay.Overall, the home could use some refreshing, particularly the mattress, pillows, couch, and a few maintenance items. With a few updates, it could provide a much more comfortable experience.
