Great beach house

Nice walk to beach. Great view.

The home was beautiful and cozy. Great for large families. My only complaints would be that 3 of the doors would not lock at all. The WiFi only worked in some areas and the beds were very hard. But the home itself was very well decorated and updated.

The house was large enough for my family. The beach access is in the back yard--lots of stairs but nice and close. My family enjoyed using the outdoor shower. The house rules said we could get in "after 5pm"--which is really late to start with, but we couldn't actually enter the house until 6pm (and my kids forced the issue). The house was not well-cleaned, and Vacasa immediately offered to send the cleaning crew back in when I reported it. The laundry lines on the downstairs balconies were great. WiFi was weak or non-existent, so we couldn't work from the house. The Food Lion grocery store and other shops are right across the street. Overall, Avon is less touristy than the northern towns on OBX. The Independence Day fireworks were terrific--we watched them from our deck.
